Holy cow!! Father's day morning I got up early and set out for my long run. I had mapped out my course and was set for 9 miles.
The first 5.5 miles wasn't so bad. After that the sun was high and I hit the wall. To finish I had to run/walk. I was a little disappointed that I walked, but the heat was getting to me.
I am proud that I have made it this far. Monday starts my 16 week training program for my first half marathon. This is the last week I can sneak in some junk food and eat the crap that I crave so bad.
