Im so excited I was asked to vendor at a fair in April with my scrapbook stuff. I will be the only scrapbook vendor amonst a group of 50 other vendors(pampered chef, avon, lia sophia, tastefully simple....just to name a few). My mom is doing Cake in a coffee mug mixes there as well...it is only $10 for a table. Im going to sell scrapbook page kits, adhesive for the pages, im going to also make some altered items to sell as well....

Those look great, I would buy them but I don;t know what to price them. I have never bought anything like that. How much do you spend on supplies per item do you think?

The board books are $1.00 each and the paper bag albums cost about the same to make plus the cost of any paper and embelishments....I buy paper in bulk and embellishments are usually either stickers or other items I cut out of paper from my die cutting machine plus ribbon....id say another $2-3 depending on how detailed I go....the standing words cost me about $8 and all I have to do is put them together they come with all the supplies so that is only costing me time.

So maybe $5 or so each for the album and the board book is what you spend? Is that right? So maybe like 12 or 15 I do not that is unreasonable then I think I would pay like 15-20 for the standing words. I am not a good judge like I said since I haven't bought anything like this, but that is what I would pay.

I would say the board books are between $3-5 each...so maybe selling em for $7.50-$8.00 and the standing words $12.50....I recently saw something that said people are more likely to buy items if it ends in $.50 because it helps make it seem like a better deal....come to think of it...if i see something that is $3.50 im more likely to buy it than if it is $4.00 so I guess I have to believe that.

Actually you can have it say $3.99 and they are more likely to buy it than if it says $4.00. Because most people round down. I don't, but that's why you see so many things for $ X.99.
Another thing to keep in mind is you could put one price on it, and then have a "sale" later in the day if things are not selling as well as you like. Just having a "sale" will get some people to buy because they will assume they are getting a good deal, whether they actually are or not.
