I just got this brilliant idea to make a scrap book for Dh for our 10th anniversary (on Jan 2nd). I bought a kit (since I have not a creative bone in my body) and a few extra stickers. Do you think it's totally impossible to pull this off? I have a few days off next week, but will have the kids of course. Anyone know of a quick way to get it done? Just keep it simple?

I started working on it today and got a few pages done. I am keeping it at about 3 pics per page and sticking to special events...high school prom, a few pics while we dated, college graduation, wedding.... Next will be the kids and the last 5 years. I figure this will fill up a few pages at least. Man this is hard to do with the kids at home. Thomas refuses to take a nap, so I ploped him in front of the tv and put Lauryn down for a nap. I have tomorrow and Wednesday to get this done.

Good luck Emma. I think it can be done. I made one for my DH last year for our anniversary and what he liked most was the writing I put in the album. By the time he was done with it he had tears in his eyes. He looked at the pictures but he said that mean the most as I wrote from my heart how I felt about him.

Our anniversary is coming up too, January 8. Are you planning anything special? I was so sick last year with morning sickness we had Aunt Jemima frozen french toast for supper and I layed around all day. How romantic.

We don't have anything planned that I know about. We may try and go out to eat on Sunday because I work 'til 9 on Monday and Tuesday and Lauryn has her tongue done on Wednesday. Thanks for telling me about writing in the book. I haven't written a whole lot, but I have plenty of room to add stuff.

Ok, I've got 11 pages done! But, have 13 to go Would it be tacky to leave a few blank pages at the back of the book to add stuff in later? I did 3 pages on Thomas and 1 on Lauryn. I also did 2 pages on extended family and want to add a page on car stuff. I can't really think of anything else to add. Any other advice or suggestions?

I meant to ask you - how did this go????

I'm a scrapaholic, and unfortunately haven't had the time to get back into it since we moved in 04. I was current at that point on my third scrapbook. Now, I'm on april of 2004 so, I'm pushing 2 years behind. I need to get them caught up.
