I am currently working on some shadow boxes for Kaitlyn's room....trying to make it more girly and less babyish so I want to change the wall hangings we currently have up. I purchased 3 oak shadow boxes that match her bed and purchased this paper to use for the background.
The quality of the pic isnt that good because the borders on the sides and the writing on the bottom and the swirls on the top are all gold glitter and you cant see that on the image and it is alot more vibrant than the paper looks...I need an opinion on what color of photographs to use(color, b&w, or sepia) I am kinda thinking sepia because of the gold glitter. The paper is pale blue, green, pink and purple and has some burgundy in it as well. I will mat the picture on plain colored cardstock and will be putting her name just above where it says princess in a coordinating color glitter...one will say Kaitlyn, one Elizabeth and one Weber and I will hang them all next to each other so it spells out her full name. opposite to her name above where it says THERE LIVED I will be putting a glitter flower that coordinates with the mat and her name.
Do I do all three with the same color mat and embellishments or should I do them all different and coordinate the colors pink, purple and blue or green?
Sepia was my first thought too for photos - unless you have a pic in full color that works well. 1 full color in the middle and 2 sepia might be kind of neat too.
I'm not sure about your other color questions - I would have to see what you are talking about to say.
I don't have any ideas, because I'm the least crafty person on this earth. But, my good friend made me gifts for Easter using that paper, as well as the Handsome prince paper...and one other one.
She put each in frames... along with pics of my kids. They are really sweet.... I love those papers. =)
Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??
I think sepia or b&w photos with the same color mat to tie them together. I've found with my own pics that as long as the mat is the same they tie in wel together, even when the frames are a little different or the pics weren't taken at the same sitting. I love the paper. It will look gorgeous!

The papers are gorgeous...I bought them in the 12x12 size, 8x8 size and 4.5x6.5, I also bought matching ribbon, the glitter stickers, epoxy stickers....the works. I will do a complete scrapbook for her in this line, seperate from her normal everyday scrapbook(birth, birthday and holidays) I am going to use more creative pics than I would put in a normal scrapbook and even pose her for some specific shots if she will sit once I get my new camera and lenses.

The pics are all from different sittings, all will be 5x7 size so that they arent too big and dont take away from the beautiful paper. Im kinda thinking purple mat and flower and her name.
