I was wanting to ask you about your new business? How's it going being an "I Remember When" Consultant?

I went today to get things for next weekend. My Creative Memories Consultant is doing her annual Croptoberfest weekend. It's next week and I'm so excited. It starts on Saturday at noon and last until Sunday at lunchtime. My BF and I are rooming together. I can't wait to go. I need to get caught up on my pages plus to eat all the Amish food.

Amy its really not going at all..I havent had much time to really work on it....They are just now starting a new system of scrapping. They call it the Basix's system. It is setup so that anyone can scrapbook. Once more info is available I will give you more info on it. Very neat system....just being released. They are offering the consultants a starter kit that we can purchase on Monday. I cant wait to get it and get started....I have a preliminary catalog available on my website if you want to look at it.

I just started this site and am working to get it up and running...plus I started a blog to list my digi scrapping stuff.

The catalogs are on the I Remember When page. On the bottom of the page is a list of all the current catalogs....a fall winter supplement...and a preview copy of the Basixs catalog and a flyer about buying the Basixs starter kit. I am really looking forward to getting the kit and getting started.

Did you ever get the stuff I remailed to you? Let me know.

Im really jealous of your scrapping trip. I havent had any time to scrap lately myself that is why im looking forward to this new system, it will be alot easier for me to scrap this way and all the current paper and embellishments that I have can be used as well as a bunch of new stuff especially made for the system. Take pics and post some completed layouts when you get back.

How's your Cricut working? Im still very jealous of that purchase your Dh made for you. Im still waiting to buy the Xyron PCS but have to save up some cash to buy it. Right now with a $250 purchase they are offering it for sale for half off this month...but if I manage to get enought $$$ for a $250 purchase I cant afford the cutter....

OHhh well maybe after we get our taxes back.

I love my Cricut. At our local JoAnn's Superstore they let me use my 50% off coupon to get Cricut cartridges. I ended up getting the Tear Drop Font and Doodlebug. I was shocked that they let you as at Michael's they won't let you use a coupon on anything Cricut.

The Cricut is so easy to use. They send out a weekly newsletter called the Cricut Chirp they give you tips. Here's what we did last weekend. Will loves my machine and we used it to do his leaf project for school. We cut the darker part out of 12x12 paper with leaves on it and then did a shadow cut to lay behind it. He got an "A" on his project.

Unfortunately no, I've not received any catalogs. That is so weird. I wonder if anyone else has received them?? I've gone to the website several times and looked around and I've seen several things that I've liked. I went to your website...AWESOME!!! I love it and especially the crayons up in the corner. It looks so graphic "designy"

My BF ended up getting her Xyron cutter at JoAnns using the 50% off coupon. She scored big time as that made it under $100.

I haven't done a page in awhile. Several weekends ago I made many cards. With it turning cold, I thought I would make some get-well cards and made some autumn cards. This weekend get away next weekend ended up being $65.00 for everything including our room, dinner and breakfast on Sunday. She gives you so much stuff when you come plus all the door prizes. Last year I forgot to bring my camera, so this year I'll make sure I bring it.

I know about the tax $$, that is usually when I buy some frivoulous for myself but even then it's always under $100. I will usually get something for the boys or the house. I still can't believe that DH got me my Cricut machine but I'm sure glad that he did.

Wow $65.00 is all..thats a great deal. Im gonna mail out another set to you....the only other people I sent to was Belinda(I doubt she's worried about that right now) and Sarah(havent seen her online in a while). I think im gonna send em by priority because then you will get them. I think because they are a thicker envelope that something is happening with them. If I do them priority them they will be in a box...hopefully that helps.

Will's project is so nice. Glad to hear he got an A on it. See scrapbooking tools arent just for scrapbooking.

I did get some cards made up for Halloween and fall. Need to get some get well soon ones done as well. Im also trying to decide what to do for Xmas cards. Last year I did cards using a snow globe wheel and stamp from stampin up. This year I think im gonna do a card that I can slide a family pic into. Too many decisions.....

I really need to get some scrapping in I have tons cartridges for all my new Xyron machines so I dont have to worry about running out of that. I have lots of supplies just staring at me and havent had much time to do anything about it...but now that it has gotten cold here we will be spending all our time indoors so that will give me plenty of time to scrap.

Leece, I just checked out your web page.. I agree, it rocks! How cute were those pumpkin and candy cane goodie boxes in the supplement!! The mailings you sent out haven't made it here yet either

LOL I almost used the 'boink' smilie by accident because he has a bunch of question marks over his head... glad I caught the animation though!

My mom and sis came to town lsat weekend to throw me a shower, so I had made it a goal to finish my baby album, and dh's. I put them out for people to thumb through. It was a hit, but people mostly wanted to talk about my hair in high school, not see what me and dh looked like as a baby!

I feel good having those done (one or two pages not quite done... but I'm not looking back!) I want to start the baby's album before she gets here, but have a little more to do first on my album of just me and dh first. I feel like I am sooo close! But I also know it is still sooo much work! My monthly scrapbooking group has started meeting at the library again, so I just have to stay focused with them!

I figure too with it getting cold, I'll be doing my scrappin' and stampin'. I enjoy staying up late on Friday nights playing.

It was so funny about Will's project. He took it in on Monday and when I picked up at school he told me that his teacher wanted to talk to me Tuesday about his project. I asked him if we did something wrong and he said no, but she had questions about his letters. Come to find out he told her that his mom had a Cricut and that is how we did his letter. She wanted to know all about it and do I like it. She and her daughter are huge scrapbookers and were thinking about buying one but wanted to talk to someone who already owned one.

Will was rolling his eyes at us talking scrapbooking on the school lawn.

On the Creating Keepsakes website I saw that they've already listed the conventions for 2007. If you've never got to go to one, I would highly recommend it. We had so much fun.

Ohh how I wish there was a CK event close enough to me....also that I had someone to go with. My friends and family just arent into it.

I will include info on signing up in your packet..its really worth it to get the discount....

Funny how Wills teacher wanted info on the letters, I can just imagine him standing there rolling his eyes in disgust about it...but secretly thinking how he loves the machine too...but he is to much a boy to admit it

Sarah those goodie boxes are really cute....I will also send you out another set....also priority....I bet your albums turned out really cute...I would love to do a book like that for dh and i but he has no baby pictures to do it with.....His mom basically has no pics of him at all. I did a book for him for his 40th birthday a month ago and I put pics of him in HS, College and current stuff, I couldnt do any pages of his childhood because he doesnt have any pics to use.....its really sad, it upsets him to know that he has none and that is why he is very allowing of my scrapbooking for Kaitlyn because he doesnt want her to be in the same boat.
