More ((HUGS))...... I have had issues with churches in the past. I'm not Catholic and have only been to a few Catholic services, so I really can't comment too much on your situation. I just wanted to say that I left the church for many years and I'm now exploring different Christian faiths to find one that fits us as a family. We really like the Methodist Church here and I joined MOPS at a friends Baptist Church. I feel welcomed at both churches and that has made a big difference. Gl with your decision. Sounds like Kris is a great resource on this subject and it may help you to heal by talking to her as she understands the situation with the church, etc.

I'm glad you are going ahead with the baptism. Though, I really hope you are able to find the extreme joy and have the stresses lessened. I would hate to think that you'd be missing out on the beauty of the Sacrament because you are too stressed about the whole situation!
