Now that I have signed up with I Remember When as an instructor I have been contacted by Xyron(The company that now owns IRW), and was asked to become a Studio 101 Instructor
. Basically I will go to different craft stores around the city and demo Xyron products(the Design runner, xyron adhesive machines(150, 510, 850, 900) the Xyron Personal Cutting System(kinda like the cricut), and the adhesive runners(cheetah) I am offered a starter set of product to familiarize myself with how to use the products. They send you $400 worth of machines and refills for $99 bucks. The then pay you in merchandise, you also get to buy supplies for you own use for 50% off....I use my Xyron all the time in my scrapbooks. I also have used it to laminate things and turn things into magnets with the magnet/laminate cartridges. Cartridges run from $4.00 to $80.00 depending on your machine. The cartridge I use most is $15.00 so I would receive them at 50% off. Now I just have to come up with the $100 bucks to get started. I also will have the chance to buy a design runner at $66 bucks...they run $160. Incase you dont know what the design runner is, it is a mini handheld printer that you can use to print across scrapbook pages, ribbon, wood and fabric. You can print text or pictures to create titles, journaling and borders. Also a chance to buy the Personal Cutting System or the wishblade at a discount. Im so excited. I cant wait to order my kit and get those goodies in the mail. You can never have too many adhesives when scrapping. ![]() |

That's AWESOME Lisa!!! I imagine you're so excited!! My best friend and I saw all the cool Xyron products at the CK Scrapbook convention in April at their booth. She almost got that design runner as it's was neat that you could print on ribbon your text.
I'm looking forward to when you get your books in. I haven't and won't be on-line here as much as we're in the process of doing some remodel work on the house. We're doing the bathroom and with us only having 1 bathroom we need to both work on it together so we can get it done quickly. I got to scrapbook Friday night till midnight. Four of us girls got together and did a girls night/crop. It was a lot of fun. I got to use my Cricut and it's wonderful. So much more than what I even thought it was. |

That's awsome! I can't wait to hear details on what you think about the products after using them. I would love to go to a demo crop like that.
I agree, you can never have too much adhesive! |

I should be receiveing in my kit another 510(im giving it to my mom-she is just getting into scrapping and needs all the basics), a 900 and two of the cheetas(tape runners 2" and 4" wide). Plus all the refills for them. I will be in sticky heaven. ![]() |

Lisa,
My best friend is asking about the Xyron Personal Cutting System. I told her about you and being a "I Remember When" Consultatnt. Around here we know of no one who's associated with this. She wants to know how much she could get a system for. Also, how much is it to sign up as a consultant and if you sign up as a consultant, what to you get and how much could she get a cutting system for? She cracks me up she's our Corporate Packaging Engineer over multiple plants and her DH is a high school teacher/coach/referree and they have no kids but her DH acts like they live in poverty. He's SO tight with money. She really would like a Cricut too but he would have a fit but the Xyron we saw at the CK Convention in April was pretty awesome. The rep let us play with it as much as we wanted (ok..that sounded a little dirty.. )If I got a moment to let me know, I'd appreciate it. |
