Woohoo! Finally a thread where I'm answering instead of ASKING all the time!

I'm a SU Demonstrator, and I have an extra catalog if you want me to send it to you. It's great for getting ideas, if anything! You can also look it up on our website, the catalog is online, but I think it is so much easier to see in real life, plus, you want to be able to browse wheverver you get a free minute, and not be tied to the computer! Somebody was right when they said you can't actually order online, but we can place orders for you via email, and it doesn't cost you any more in shipping, it just goes straight to your house instead of to ours!
I would say, a SU alphabet is a great investment. No more picking your titles based on what stickers you have left! and it makes your pages so much more personal! I would say, keep it simple on your first order. Order 1 alphabet, 1 ink pad, and the ink cleaning spray. Don't go getting lots of inks/petals til you get into it more and get a feel for what you'd use. I bet you have alot of paper already too, so you could pass on that (until you're hooked later!

)
THere are 2 kinds of inks. Which one you need depends how anal (sorry) you are about preserving yrou scrapbooks. All the inks from SU are acid free and nontoxic. CLASSIC INKS dry the fastest, and come in the most colors. There is a chance of eventualy fading in a couple decades, depending on how you store and treat your scrapbooks. CRAFT INK is a pigment ink, and will NOT fade ever. THe down side is it is a little gooier, and you have to let it sit a little while it dries. There's benefits too, but I don't want to get too complicated! In MY scrapbooks, I use the regular old classis ink. It dries in a heart beat, so I don't have to worry about smearing, and I like to do other cool stuff with it, like watercoloring, but again... won't go there yet!
Besides alphabets, there's other stamps you can use in scrapbooks too, like frames, and journaling blocks, and title starters. We also have Simply Scrappin' Kits, which has themed patterned paper, coordinating colored paper, cardstock accent stickers, title bars, tags, alot! Of course you can get the matching stamps too!
Anyways,let me know if you've got more questions!
