Is there any scrapbookers out here????

I love doing this....how are you doing pictures of your babies? Any suggestions.

Amy, DH bought me everything needed for scrapbooking and I just recently made my first page. I think it turned out pretty well. But as far as Idea, I steal those from DIY. I will try to take a picture of my first scrapbooking page and post it. Maybe tonight.

I'll take pictures of some of my layouts this weekend.

My Creative Memories consultant is having "Croptoberfest" on Saturday. It's at a Amish village inn about 45 minutes from here. You can crop all afternoon and then in the evening they're having a dinner over at the Amish restaurant. Good ol' country cooking. I think I'm going to go if I feel ok. It sounds like a lot of fun. Some down time just for me "playing"

I have taken tons of pictures but havent done one page yet. I just did a book for my parents who just recently paid off there house showing pics of the house when they bought it and all the renovations they have done and then we had a huge party and bonfire to burn the mortgage papers so we gave them the book for that. It turned out great. I bought everything for her book but just havent started....I havent even finished my wedding scrapbook and we will be married a year on Saturday. I guess I better get hopping.

I was able to go scrapbooking last Saturday all afternoon. It was great!! I take pictures this week and upload. Does anyone else use Creative Memories? What products do you all use?

I have never tried CM, I use alot of stamps from Stampin Up and love making memories stuff...I just bought some rubons and cant wait to try them. I have been scrapbooking alot on my pc, Have HP's Scrapbooking Assistant. Great program. If anyone is a scrapbooker and would like a copy of the program I have a ton, I work for them part time and they sent me a bunch as giveaways plus I have Cd's from when Shrek came out on DVD, they have tons of printable projects on them. I would send them to anyone that wants them. Just send me a PM with your address and I will get them out to you.

I used to be a consultant for Stampin' Up! and must say the stamps, ink pads and paper are the best. I made all of Hayden's birth announcements. (I'll take a picture tomorrow and post it.) I've been rubber stamping for the past 9 years. I got into it when my older DS was a baby.

I've been scrapbooking now for about 2 years. I really enjoy it!! I got into the Creative Memories line of products as they have a great cutting system plus I really like their journaling pens. I'd like to try the digital scrapbooking. I have a subscription to Creating Keepsakes magazine and it seems to be getting way out there. If you read the list of supplies people use it would take me forever to create a page.

Ive heard the CM cutting system is the best. I use a fiskars trimmer and have had good luck even though alot of people dont seem to like them, I also have a Sizzix and a sidekick as well. I also heard the journaling pens are great I will have to see if I can order some to try, maybe ill check and see if I can pick some up off of ebay. Right now Im using Zig pens and these seem to work good too. But Im always up to trying out a new product.......I agree about CK, I used to be a big time reader but let my subscription lag and now buy it once in a while if the cover looks good, the same with memory makers.....I did just subscribe to a new one Scrapbook Answers, it has a cd that comes with it with lots of stuff you can use, techniques and stuff you can print to use on pages as well as digital scrapbooking products. I will let you know if I like it when I get my first mag in the mail, right now I just bought the Woman's day Scrapbooking and keepsakes to see how I like that one.
