I love scraping but by the time Dh gets home and the kids are in bed I am beat.Maybe I am a big weenie but how and when do you have the time. I am so far behind its not even funny.

I can't even begin to fathom how people have the time to scrap. I would love to do it, but there just aren't enough hours in the day for me. I think once our kiddos are older, it'll be a lot easier. =)
Tricia is a nanny and does her scrappin' while all the kids are taking a nap during the day. I do mine usually on the weekends. I have done a few pages this week at night after my kids are in the bed. But, mostly, I had been doing it on the weekends when DH is home and can cover the kids for me -- of course, my kids are older, so I don't have to worry about a toddler getting into my scrappin' stuff, and a baby crying.
I'm trying to get as caught up as possible. I was current in 02/2004 and hadn't scrapped since (we moved and then things got hectic in our lives). But, sometimes you just have to let things slide. Sometimes, laundry gets washed and dried and not folded...and sometimes, the floor goes one more day before getting vacuumed!
I don't get to do it much but my DH is great about me going to crop. They had an all day Memoranza crop two weeks ago from 9-4:30 and he took care of both boys so I could go. That's really the only hobby I have. He likes to golf, so we make sure he gets the extra time to do that too.
We both do housework, cleaning, errands, shopping and kid care. One week he may do it and the next week I may do it. About the only thing I always do is cook. He will set the table and clean off the table when we're done though.
He's an awesome DH and father so I never feel like I'm doing it all. I do maybe 3 pages a month...not much, but enough to have some fun.
Sounds great Amy! Every little bit counts. I am trying to set a goal of 1-2 pages a week so that I can get caught up. I just love doing it...but sometimes I get frustrated when my pages just are working the way I had invisioned. I have to just get back 'into the groove' of doing it though and it will all come back to me. I can't believe that I slacked off for 2 YEARS and didn't scrap. What on earth was I thinking????? I was a horrible mother in 2005 and don't have a lot of pics...so, that year will be a short scrapbooking year. Maybe I will be caught up sooner than I thought?
BTW...Can I borrow your DH?!? That's so sweet that he helps you around the house and that you take turns 'having fun'. My DH is going to school full time and walks 06/10! I cannot WAIT for all of this to be over. Now he's talking about taking 6 months off and going back for his bachelors. Kill me now! Especially when we are talking about starting TTC in Sept/Oct/Nov ish. Lordy!
It is also my only hobby so DH does watch Kaitlyn so I can scrap, otherwise he will never get to GOLF...I will make sure of that. Plus I try to get pages done while she is napping on the weekends. If I can get 1-3 pages done in a weekend Im happy.
Thanks for the answers,I need to just make myself do it one weekend and tell dh that he is on kid duty and thats that.
I am really starting to miss it.Kris is right,Just not hours in the day.
