Working Hard Keeping the Hussy's In Line
|
Ok...took only a couple of pics from my second album and my third album. So, these pics are from 2003 and 2004...But, you will get the idea. Take note...some of these ARE scraplifted. Sorry...there are a lot of pics...
![]() This is one of my son's preschool pics that I overlapped with velum and wrote my son's sayings from when he was 3...instead of saying "tomorrow" he would say "lastermorrow". ![]() ![]() Here is a layout that I ripped the paper and 'sewed' it together and added buttons in the middle. ![]() ![]() Here is the 'towel' page I was talking about. Were it flips open and I have journaling and another pic... ![]() ![]() ![]() I zoomed in on my original pic that I took of Katelynn and made it black and white. Added a velum frame and added metal embellishments and metal letters that I mounted with eyelets and framed with some funky fibers. ![]() On this picture of my niece Caroline, I did the same... made the pic black and white and stitched some flower stems from different color crocheting yarn and glued buttons on as the 'flowers'. ![]() The Charlotte Crew shows a pic of my SIL with her three girls. This was a very simple layout using different schemes of the same lavendar color. Plum, medium plum, lavendar and light lavendar with a stripped purple background paper and a larger matting for the main picture to put my title. ![]() Here is the layout that I did Sunday night. Shows my DS and my niece Caroline playing on a swing set in my SIL's yard. They are both the 'wild children' of the bunch. They are both 3 months apart, so, they are close friends. ![]() Here is what my gumball page ended up being. It's not quite done yet. I need to add a journaling block in the top of the right page. I decided to add the 'gumball' feel in the title of the page, rather than cutting the pictures themselves. Notice that the middle picture has been cut and mounted on either side of the two pages - double mounted. Turned out very simple... |

Thanks girls! I can't take all the credit, since some of them were scraplifted...but, am trying to get back into the grove. I used to be able to crank these pages out in an hour or so with complicated metal, brads, eyelets, funky fiber and multiple colors going on...now, it's taking me 3 hours to do a page because I can't find anything in my BAG and am not with the groove again yet! How sad is that?
Lisa, I will be excited to see your pics. I just love looking at everyone's scrapbooks. Please share! |
