Working Hard Keeping the Hussy's In Line

Ok...I have been scrappin' for 7 years and should know this...but, I'm trying to scrap a page using 7 pics.
Problem? My pics are all horizontal! What was I thinking while taking those pics!? The theme of the page was going to be 'Holy Gumballs' (the kids were having fun picking up gumballs in my brothers yard). I have quite a few layouts coming up that will be 5-9 or more pics, and really need some ideas for incorporating tons of pics in a two page layout. Any ideas girls?I thought of doing a square tick-tac-toe kind of layout, but I had already done that before. I have also done three horizontals on each of the outer pages (but, that's only 6 pics). Anyone else got anything for me. I keep getting stumped with the 7 pics being ALL horizontal and minimal cropping to make them vertial optional here. TIA! |

How about making a little flip book on the page....You could take a piece of paper and fold it so it is like a card and you attach the backside to the paper...that way you can put 2 pictures into the inside and one of the outside. You can also use the technique to hide any journaling as well.
HTH. Let me know if this makes sense or not....I can see it in my head but explaining it is something different... ![]() |

That makes sense. I have been wanting to do that...and add ribbon to tie a bow to close the two pages shut. But, one problem...I have a Creative Memories book with the slide on sheet protectors, and this would limit everyone from 'viewing' the booklet. Any thoughts there?
I've done an 'All Wrapped Up' page with my son in a robe and 'cloth' like paper cut into a towel with fringe and glued it on the page so that it was on the outside of the page protector and everyone can just life the 'towel' to view him and my journaling. I really need to take some pics and post them for you guys... |

That sounds super cute! Could you cut them into cirle like gumballs? You could make a gumball machine (round white piec of paper & a red base & topper) & cut the pics into circles & frame them onto round colored paper, like each pic is a gumball. Sounds like alot of work, but it could be cute!
Good luck! |

Thanks! The round idea could work...let me play with that...
Also thought about three pics cropped on the top of the left page, and three pics cropped on the bottom on the right and one near the bottom? Who knows. I will have to play with them and see... Thanks! |
