Walking around without a coat when it's 50 out!!?? Holy cow, I'm freezing here. Though I do have to say I love it! It is depressing to be in the 80s on Christmas day. Today is the last day that it'll be cold, it should be in the 70s by this weekend.
Alot of people will be wearing shorts....half of our seasons(spring and fall) it is in the 50's. The other 2 it is either horribly hot in the 90's -100's in summer or below 0 in winter.
Well I'm taking the easy way out I've been craving Chinese food but haven't been able to go out to get it because of so Tai caused car problems but they are better so Hot & Sour Soup, Dumplings, and Kung Pao Chicken - Here I come!!
And wow! 50s and 70s in January!?! That's just crazy, I'm not a huge fan of the cold but I think I would miss the cold and snow! In fact I can't wait for the snow storm to hit we are suppose to get this weekend, I hope it's a big one!!

Yes the 50's thing was a big shock to me...but anything is better than the tons of snow we have been dumped(we had record snowfalls for December). It is supposed to get warm on Monday and Tuesday and then start to rain and then get colder and then the rain should be turning into snow.
Lisa, I would die if I had to live in your freezing cold state. I'm cold just thinking about how cold you must be driving around in your car without a working heater. BRRR!

well I will be driving around with my heavy columbia jacket, fleece hat, gloves and scarf, bitching about how freaking cold it is, so that will be steaming up the windows making it impossible for me to see out of them, the steam will then freeze on the cold windows and like this morning on my way to work I will have to pull over and scrape the inside(yes I did say the inside of the window) so that I can see out....then this process will start all over again once I get the kid in the car at dc and she is bitching about having to keep her hat and gloves on since it is so cold(as soon as she gets in the car-when it is already warmed up from my ride from work to dc the first thing she does is whip off her hat and gloves )

That SUCKS! The heater core (I think that's what it was called )went out on Dh's car years ago and I remember the defrost not working. Can you trade cars with Dh until it's fixed? play the 'your poor daughter is so cold, etc, etc' card
