bbq pulled pork?
I've got a cooked pork roast in the freezer and it was really dry when we ate on it a few months back. I was thinking that I could make it into pulled pork sandwiches. Could I just thaw it, cube it and throw it in the crock pot with some bbq sauce, water and an onion and cook it until it falls apart? Do you think that would be any good?

I your going to cook it till it falls apart - do you need to cube it? I would think it would be fine. But then - I use food others would be scared of and no one has died yet.

This'll sound weird, but throw some COKE in the crock pot with the BBQ sauce. I promise you... it'll make it SOOOO nice and tender!!! I use coke in the crockpot with chicken and pork ALL the time. Yummmmmmo!

Another suggestion to the coke is vinegar and water (only because the coke is a litte sweet). I use 2 parts water to one part vinegar to tenderize my meats. It's works wonderfully. Doesn't taste like vinegar either. Just add about 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the crockpot with the meat. Set on low for a few hours or till done. Drain off the vinegar water mixture; pull apart and add your bbq sauce and heat through. Will make it as good as new.
