There are several women in my neighborhood that are about to have babies. I really want to take them a meal when they have them but I never have any idea what to make. What do you take to families for dinner or what would you like brought to you?

I usually make a big pot of chili or lasagna. Both are easy to be warmed up.

I agree with Amy, I usually do Lasagna...but chilli is a great thing because it is easily rewarmed. I have a easy chilli recipe that my sil gave me and it is great, let me know if you want it.

I agree with the other girls with one addition... If you are going to all the trouble of making a 'big' meal, why not put it in freezer containers so that all they have to do is take out one small container and heat it instead of heating and cooling one big container (and risk having it go to waste).... I also recommend cookies as an extra special treat. Think about the last time you had homemade cookies or bread brought to your door...
