Thanksgiving this year is at my house, which means about 25-30 people (adults and kids) will be at my house.

I don't mind so much having it at my house, but I have to assign everyone items to bring and because I'm SOOO not a cook (I absolutely dread cooking and even thinking WHAT to cook) so I need ideas.

What's at a typical Thanksgiving dinner?... besides Turkey, cranberry and mashed potatoes.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

green bean casserole is a must. broccoli/cheese casserole, creamed corn ( i just found a yummy looking recipe), asparagus, new potatoes in cream cheese/dill sauce (also a new recipe), pumpkin pie, or pumpkin crisp (yum!!), apple or berry pie. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday!!!

How about a special stuffing, or crescent rolls. Oh, my fav- appetizers! For guests while they are waiting to eat....fresh shrimp, cheese and crackers, cut up fruit with a sweet dip, artichoke dip! Yum! Somebody could bring different drinks, or wine too, or sparkling cider! You are so courageous to host for 25-30 people!
