my 3 year old neice is having a princess party and i am supposed to bring the cake. she wanted it to be pink and blue, because *technically* it's a princess and prince party.

i made it tonight and it ended up REALLY REALLY pink and REALLY REALLY blue. yikes!

oh well, i guess it's just supposed to sugar the kids up enough for them to have a major meltdown later on! i have accomplished that purpose!

the colors are way brighter than i wanted, but i'm too busy to make another one.

after leaving it overnight, the colors have seemed to calm down a little bit.

i rent shaped pans from a party store here, so that's how i get the pattern to make the cakes. it's so much easier than baking a normal cake and cutting it to make a shape you want.
