ANy bakers amoung us.

I made my first ever lemon mereguine pie. But something happened. I looked great I cut a piece yesterday to bring to work. And it tasted great. But when I got home the rest of the pie was like soup?? NOt sure what I did wrong. Anyone know???

Wish I could help, but that would probably happen to me too;) Did it get warm and like melt or something?! Before Thomas I cooked a lot. Now I rely on my "Super Suppers". Oh and I got a "Steam and Mash" for my b-day and it's great! I made mashed tatos and steamed brocoli for dinner last night. YUMMY! GL with the next pie.

NO it pretty much dissolved in the fridge. my mom thinks it has something to do with the cooking process. But I don't remember he every baking a pie. Now my MIL I wish she was still alive. She would know right away what the problem is. sigh, if only I would have done this 6 months ago. I could have asked her.

I think I am going to try either chocolate cream pie or coconut cream pie, next Both DH likes. That way maybe it won't matter if it falls apart.

OMG SOXFAN I LOVE YOU> I have been asking everyone I know. So the shrinkage was more than just shrinkage. I missed one side. OMG I am so releived. Ok when you do the mereguine. It seems like I over beat it b/c It went from nice big and fluffy to flat and glossy white. Which is what the recipe said but is that right. It just doen'st seem like there is enough?? Should I just do a 4 egg white mereguie.

OMG I am so glad I got an answer. THANK YOU My mom told me it was b/c I didn't cook it long enough and she has never made a lemon mereguine pie in her life!! I did it in honor of my MIL.
