Italian Steak

2 lbs. round steak (cut in pieces)
2 beef boullion cubes
1 - 28 oz. can of tomatoes (drained - keep liquid)
1 cup onion
1 1/4 cup water (include tomato liquid)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 1/2 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
Garlic to taste

Put steak in crock pot. Disolve beef boullion cubes and add to tomato/water liquid. Combine tomatoes, onion and seasonings and pour over steak. Pour boullion mixture over steak. Cook on low for 8-9 hours. To thicken juice once cooked add 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup of corn startch and stir.

I serve over egg noodles or you can use whatever you prefer.

Italian Beef
Put enough water in the crock pot to cover the meat...
add:
6Tbsp of beef bullion (I use the cubes, either way it will work)
1 Chopped Onion (I use the minced onions you buy in the spice section that are dried)
2Tbsp of Oregano
2 Tbsp of Italian Seasoning
3Tbsp of Garlic Powder
1tsp Salt
1tsp Pepper
4 Jalapeno peppers

Just add it all into the crock pot and let it cook untill the meat is falling appart.
this is yummy on rolls.

OK the soup turned out good so here is the recipe..DH said he would have liked it a little thicker (the soup part) So next time I wonder if adding a more milk and less water would do it..Hope you enjoy!!

Cheesy Bacon Potato Soup

Ingredients:
* 5 Cups water
* 4 chicken bouillon cubes
* 6-8 potatoes (peeled and chopped into pieces)

Cook on low for 4-5 hours.

* 6 slices of bacon (cooked and chopped)
* 1 can evaporated milk
* Grated cheddar cheese (1 cup or more depending on your preference)

After cooking potatoes on low, add cooked/chopped bacon, evaporated milk and grated cheddar cheese. Stir into crock-pot and cook for another 1/2 hour until the cheese melts.
Serve in bread bowls or with homemade bread

Here is a pot roast one I got off another message board that is really good!!

To Die for Crock Pot Roast

1 beef roast, any kind, sized to fit your crock pot
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing mix
1 package brown gravy mix
1 package Italian dressing mix
1/2 cup warm water

Place the roast in crock pot. In a bowl combine the envelopes of mixes together and sprinkle on top of the roast. Pour approximately 1/2 cup of warm water in the bottom of the crock pot. Cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours. Serve the gravy on top of mashed potatoes.

I put my veggies in at the beginning with the roast sitting on top of them....It worked.

Default Low fat Crock Pot Recipes

I haven't read the crock pot thread but Belinda was asking and I wanted to start posting what I have. NOw most of these give you WW points if you are doing WW. If not then add stuff that isn't fat free.

Crockpot Beeef Stew (3 points Per cup)

3 Potatoes , diced
5 Carrots, Diced
4 stalks celery, diced
2 Small onions, chopped
1 head (not clove) garlic, minced
1 large Tomato, blanched and chopped
4 TBS Barley
4 Beef bouilion cubes
1 ¾ lbs lean beef
½ tsp rosemary
½ tsp savory (?)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
2 TBS flour
2 TBS corn Starch

Cube and brown the beef. Add flour to beef and stir together. Combine all ingredients except potatoes, corn starch, rosemary, and savory in a crock pot. Cover with water. Cook high 12-24 hours. 1 hour before serving, add potatoes, rosemary, and savory. Immediately before serving, thicken with corn starch.

Crockpot Chicken (3 points)

1 10 ¾ oz can Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Package dry onion soup mix
2 cups water
2 cups uncooked instant rice
16 oz, skinless boneless check breast cut in 1” pieces
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1/8 tsp black pepper

Spray slow cooker w/ cooking spray, in prepared crockpot, combine first 4 ingredients. Add Chicken, mushroom, and pepper. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours. Stir before serving. Serves 6 (1 C serving)

This dish NEEDS some color, it is very brown. I would add the peppers and a bag of frozen zero point veggies.

Crock Pot Chicken #2 (4 points)

4-6 boneless chicken breasts
¼ c white wine
1 pkg Good Seasons Italian Salad dressing mix

Brown Chicken, Place in Crockpot, sprinkle salad dressing mix over chicken. Add white wine. Cover; cook on high about 4 hours (low for 6-8)

Crock Pot Chicken & stuffing ( 7 points)

4 chicken breasts (halved)
1 pkg Stove Top Stuffing
½ C water
1 can FF cream of Mushroom Soup
1 C Chicken Broth

Place Chicken on bottom of Crock pot. Pour broth over the chicken. Mix together the stuffing, soup and water, and place on top of the chicken. Cook on low for 7 hours. Serves 4. 7 points (If you have really large chicken breasts the points would be a little higher)
