We are here to provide support to each other through our ups and downs and vent about all the bullshit in our daily lives. Tricia's situation however goes way far beyond that and perhaps Suzanne you have not been told the whole story based on your post. And no I don't feel its fair to us to come here and ask for our support without being honest with us. We have all been together for many years now, we have shared many many personal stories and images with each other. Why she did not feel she could ask for help before it got to the point that it did is beyond me.. considering we are all friends right? While none of us are qualified to provide her with the kind of support she needed we could have at least encouraged her to seek professional help immediately. Instead she kept things to herself and let it escalate to unthinkable heights and came back here out of the blue playing it off as it was not a huge deal and then say hey can you support me now? I'm sorry but THAT is not fair!

Suzanne - you need to know the seriousness of the situation because of just that.. the seriousness of the situation - when lives are at stake you should be informed of all the details.

I can only assume that you are referring to Belinda as being that "someone". What/if anything happened between them is just that BETWEEN them. It has nothing to do with the board, it has not been brought out on the board and has nothing to do with this.

I can only assume you have never been depressed. Its hard to admit when you are and when you have feeling of suicide. That is why most people kill themselves because the intense feeling of alone. Its an illness..
If that the reason you banned her then ban me too..

No Jillian I have never experienced depression myself, but have been touched by it through a friend and through my mothers alcoholism. Tricia's depression is no secret to the board, she has come forward many times in the past and openly discussed her feelings, family history, asked for help, etc. I did not ban her because she suffers from depression and had suicidal thoughts, this went beyond that.

Knowing one side of the story, I still don't necessarily agree with banning Tricia from the site at this point in time. But I also can understand why some felt it an appropriate action. I'm sure the decision was not made lightly. And I really hope
