The past 3 days/nights Dean has not been BF'ing well. The first 2 nights were from his belly being upset. He has discovered his sippy cup, and he prefers that to me sometimes. He's definatly cut down his feedings and the length of them. My one boob I think has a back up in it, and they are both real tender to the touch. I don't want to pump, because I don't want to produce anymore, but i'm uncomfy. I have too....anything to do with it?

Kind of depends on what you want to do. Do you want to wean him or do you want to keep nursing him? If you want to keep nursing, I would pump to keep up his supply. He may just be doing a nursing strike of sorts right now. What are you putting in the sippy? EBM would be the best, though a little water or juice would be OK too. I think they say no more than 4 ozs a day of juice.j

If they are in pain, you need to express at least a little to get some relief. If you don't, you will probably end up with a nasty case of Mastitis.
