I have a follow up with my GI on MOnday. I had called a few times since my last apt about help with solids and stuff. I knwo she is pro BF'ing. I knwo other people who went to her, and she has always said BM is the best for babies with sensitive tummies. I called and asked about going to straight table food, and the nurse called back, and she said" Try whatever he can handle with table food. He's what, 6 months old? He shouldn't be nurseing anymore anyway." I said "The AAP recommends 3 years" She said"Well, that's just what the Dr said" ....

I'm pissed. How should I handle this? What should I say?
