Well girls I gave in last night after putting up with her screaming for an hour....nursed her to sleep and now today told her the boo boo's are ouchie again....I could definetly tell my supply was way way down. And now im not feeling any fullness or at all so it may have helped with my engorgement issues. She went to bed tonight without asking for them so im thinking that one little slip was no big deal. Next time she does that she will have a sad time finding out there is nothing left there.

Less traumatic for her and more like weaning this way, she may still want to try again, but if she isn't doing much nursing, the supply will quickly vanish. Though I have heard of women keeping up a small milk supply for some time after weaning.

You've done a good job Lisa! I know what you mean about the temper tantrums. Austin starts crying, arching his back, and crying booobie. That's another reason I'm ready to start weaning. So far he's only done that at home. I'd die if he did it in public. He also sits in my lap at home and when he wants to nurse, try pulling up my shirt. I hope the fullness goes away for you, put I'm so proud of you that you did it as long as you have.
