And I'm a little bummed about it. Things were getting way to crazy and with me traveling for work in April, I decided to quit the pumping.

I'm excited yet bummed about it all at the same time. Why is it so hard to stop???? I can't imagine what you girls go through who are actually breastfeeding...I think I would have an emotional breakdown. I'm in tears over it, and I'm just pumping!

I had a hard time when I stopped pumping too, but she wasn't drinking it at DC any more so there really was no need too. And part of me would love to be done with nursing, and part of me doesn't want to be. It's weird.

Belinda, you did awesome, pumping is so much harder than nursing. I nursed from the time Shannon was born and of course pumped during the day when i came back to work and nursed at night. When my doctor told me i had to stop to ahve my feritin infusion, i cried for a week. I was determined to continue until he was at least a year old.

I think its hard because you feel like you are taking something from them but then you realize that you gave them so much for the time you were pumping and that is an awesome accomplishment.

You have done an amazing job!! Not many people make it to 9+ months when they stay at home and can nurse w/o pumping. You have pumped for 9 months, that is a huge acomplishment! I know it's hard emotionally, but don't be hard on yourself.
