I was up before Liriel this morning and she came downstairs on her own later. I asked Liriel if she wanted her CCs this morning as she was pulling some toys out and she responded: "No, I want to play with my dinosaurs." She has done this twice now in the mornings in the last week. Mind you she nursed a few hours earlier and went back to sleep, but she would normally still have wanted to nurse at the time I asked. So I don't expect her to stop any time soon. But she is managing to go without more and more. And saying no when I ask if she wants them.
I wish I had that problem....kate is asking for it more and more lately...and yesterday she asked me mommy where is my milk and pointed to the girls....apparantly they werent producing enough for her greedy little butt.
"Mom, put Ty back in your belly ~ he keeps touching my toys"
Are you bummed or looking forward to being done? It seems the CCs can't compete with dinos! I know for me I was bummed with Jake but being pregnant with Ty it just happened. I keep getting questions about how long I will nurse Ty, I keep saying, until he stops but I am impressed you are at 2 1/2 years!

That is too funny! Jake sometimes will hand me his sippy cup and say filler up! He doesn't nurse anymore but knows this is where Ty gets his milk so he figures why not.

Wow.. I can't believe you have made it that long! I know I'll be sad when I stop.. but Mommy can't wait for a nice stiff drink
You can still have a drink...just remember that if your too drunk to drive your too drunk to nurse. I have a glass of wine or a margarita or even a beer and have no problems....after a few hours the alcohol is gone and if you are truly worried pump and dump after a drink. Trust me there is no way in hell I could have made it to 2 yrs, 6 months, 2 weeks and 5 days of nursing without a bit of alcohol.

Mommy doesn't drink. But it will be nice not to have to worry about taking my drugs as much when I get sick. It's kind of sad to think it may be over. But it sure would be nice to have my body back. But who knows, she might still be nursing for a long time yet. It's a great way to knock her out at night.
A few weeks ago when she was sick - she was nursing like crazy. But I'm getting told "No." more and more and it's just bizarre to me.
