Dean has now started screaming while he's nursing. We went to the oral motor specalist today(that post is under infants) I just don't know how much I want to fight anymore. I'm trying to up my supply....it's not to late to do that is it? Anyone have any sucess this late in the game?

Hang in there. It's normally to need to up your supply as they get older. They generally need to nurse a lot. And of course you can do all the things that have been listed in other posts to up your supply.

If he is teething or having some thing else bothering him, that could be what's bothering him and making it uncomfortable to nurse.

The oral motor was telling met aht he associates nursing with pain even though it seems controlled. And the GI thinks he's teething...but he gets REALLY mad when the flow dosen't start right away (he screaches....he's like his mommy...he wants to eat, and he wants to eat NOW )

I'm hopeing i don't have to suppliment...we were up 5 times last night....

Sounds like he is hitting a growth spurt and entering the magical time. Josi went through the pulling screaming thing. We worked through it and she is a good nurser at 14 months old! It can be frustrating.
