I got the best Christmas present this year!

I feel like an idiot. I have :bfing:'d 3 kids, I should know.
Ok now that her green poop could be from to much foremilk what do I do about the milk / soy problems. What I mean is, I had a soy coffee Monday and Tuesday Tierney was supper fussy, crying and sounded like she was in pain. But her poop was supper green starting Monday night into Tuesday. So is it possible that she doesn't have a problem with soy and it could just be not enough hind milk??? You guys are such life savers. ![]() |

Giving away FREE crotch extenders -- do I have any takers??

This stuff is so hard to pin point. I wish I had an answer for you. I didn't look for an update in your other post, but have you started pumping a little before the feeding to get less foremilk? I would cut out obvious soy too and see if that helps.

Because I said so, that's why!

It can take a few days to notice a difference when you make changes in diet and/or how/when you you nurse. It certainly doesn't hurt to cut out soy and see what happens. Just keep in mind that it can take up to 2 weeks to completly flush dairy out of your system.

I love my boys!!

we had green poop too, and i remember calling the LC, and she said that they go through a growth spurt around 3-4 weeks (the intestines and stomach) and that could cause green poop. We still have it from time to time. Very well could be too much foremilk...but we had the gas stuff too, and around that time that's what the LC told me(about the growth spurt) I know it sucks....
