all of a sudden, there has been a huge drop in my supply...where did it go? He usually only takes one side...last night he took both, and then work up after 2 hrs hungry again....i don't feel full at all. This morning I had to top him off with formula...what happened? Where did it go!?!? How can I get it back?

Could be just a growth spurt. That is exactly how Kate was when she had one. Just keep up your water and make sure your eating and nurse nurse nurse and it will come back. Also any signs of AF? That makes my supply drop quite a bit.

It's probably a growth spurt and he's upping your supply. Eventually your body will level out and if your nursing on demand you won't get that full feeling unless you miss a feeding. He needs to nurse frequently for a few days to get your supply up to what he needs. Giving him EBM or Formula will interfere with this process.

The other thing to consider is are you drinking enough liquids? Have you been eating enough calories the last few days? Have you been sick? All can impact your supply. You mentioned last week Dean was sick and not nursing. That could have caused your supply to drop and/or he's making up for not eating for a few days - hence the need for him to nurse frequently to bring your supply back up.

Yup! I agree! Growth Spurt! Nurse, nurse, nurse, nurse...and drink lots of fluids, He's increasing your supply. Try to nurse instead of giving formula if you can. With Caleb's growth spurts I would spend a couple of days nursing constantly and then he would go back to normal again.
