I have eaten too much dairy, and Dean is MISERABLE....(i was thinking maybe it wasn't dairy, it was something else)

Should i only give him formula today, to see if that helps, and pump and dump?

I ate a lot of cheese, and a little milk in the last 48 hrs...like I said, he's MISERABLE....

Koloe

You could use formula and pump and dump - but it takes days to get the cows milk out of your system. What kind of formula are you using? If it's cow's milk based, I doubt you will help the problem any. He probably needs that nice expensive hypo allergenic formula - if you not nursing him.

anytime we have supplimented, it's been the hypo formula. I'm starting to think maybe it's a reflux breakthrough? I can't tell. I gave him some of his colic drops, and it seemed to settle him, and he's FINALLY sleeping comfortably

Eventhough I'm not able to exclusively BF, I've had to cut milk out completely. The dairy doesn't do much, it's just when I have a lot of milk. A bowl of cereal is fine, but anything past that and he is miserable! You'll probably need to eliminate milk completely or cut down a lot to see any differences.
