Jack Aiden is here!

I felt like I had been in labor for months. My body was having hard contraction for weeks every 3 minutes. I never went to the hospital. I went tonsee my mom on 8/20/11. We went swimming, had dinner etc. My mom kept telling me I was in labor. I told her she was crazy, and that I had had stronger contractions in the past. I went home, got ready for bed. About 2 am I was having contractions still. Nothing bad but they were there. I got up to pee and felt a gush. I told myself it was just pee and not to worry. I tossed and turned for 2 hours feeling little gushes with each contraction. Around 4:30 dh woke up and asked me if I was ok (I was tossing and turning) I told him I thought my water broke but I was not sure. He asked if I wanted to go to the hospital. I didnt think I was in labor, but my gut told me to go. Tonys mom is living with us, but she normally spends the weekends at her boyfriends. For some strange reason she came home that night. (thank God!) Tony woke his mom up at 4:30 to let her know we were going to the hospital. I was freaking out. The next day Mike started 1st grade at a new school, and it was also his 6th b'day. I had many plans for that day to get his present and make a cake etc.

We got to the emergency room, and they put me in a wheel chair. The guy was running with the wheelchair and so was Tony. I kept telling him he didn't have to run, that I was fine. He said 10 minutes before he had a lady deliver in the wheel chair in the elevator lol.

I got to the room, changed and got hooked up to the monitors. I was Gavin large contractions but they didn't hurt that bad. She tested my water, and checked me. I was 100% thinned and 1-2'cm. She left to call my OB. I told her to tell him I wanted to go home, and that I was not in labor. She came back in at 5:45 and told me I was having my section at 6:15. She told me that she has to start an IV stat because she had to get a bag of fluid in me before they started. I told her I needed a few minutes to have an emotional breakdown. I was crying so hard they had a hard time prepping me and starting my IV. My dr came in 5 minutes later and I was 4-5 cm already and moving. Jack was born at 6:42 am. He was 6lb 10 oz and 19". I also had my tubes tied while I was in there. We are home and adjusting. He's a good baby with some food sensitivities and reflux. He is my most laid back child i have had :-)

Sure is nice when someone sends your child care home early so you can head to the hospital without worrying about the little ones asleep in bed.
