Nothing too amazing here. I also feel so sad when I read of so many people with fertility difficulties. Adam just looks at me and I get pregnant. Joshua was an "Oooops" and we got pregnant with Brenna and Ian on the 2nd cycle. I was especially surprised with Ian, since DH and I only bd'd once that cycle.... because I was sick. My TTC story-
When Hannah was 9 months old I got pregnant. It took me a few weeks to find out because I was nursing and just thought I was going to be irregular. I finally poas at nearly 6 weeks. My reaction was shock. I almost fell to the ground, my dh caught me. In a few days the shock wore off and I was happy. A week later, (2 days after my first appt.) I started cramping. My dr sent me to the hospital for an u/s. Long story short, it was a blighted ovum. I had a d&c the next day. I spent the whole summer depressed, EVERYONE around was pregnant!!! After my sil had her baby I cried and begged my dh to give my a baby. The next month I was pregnant!! The day that my angel would've been born is the day I got my BFP.
Wow this will bring back memories! Hailey took the longest to concieve...my boys were conceived the first cycle trying, though with Alex we were not officially TTC.
I tried for a while to convince my DH to go for baby #3....This sounds bad, but we made a bet on the Superbowl and I WON!! I left it up to him when he wanted to start and in July 2004 he said he was ready. It was supposed to be a "one time shot" but I think he really wanted this more then he cared to admit...Our 4th cycle trying we got pregnant and the rest is history...I found out the day after Thanksgiving...but had taken a Dollar Tree test about 11 DPO that had what I think now was a very faint positive after about 10 minutes. I threw it away and looked at it again a few minutes later and there was the faintest of pink lines. I remember we were going down to VA and I told DH I was 4 days late and he kept saying the whole way there " are you feeling crampy" and I said no because I am pregnant :) I did not temp much that cycle cause I got sick of doing it..but here is my BFP chart.
For us it was easy...we got married on November 5th. I stopped BCP a couple months before the wedding, I was due to have the day of the wedding but due to all the stress she stayed away. We werent trying I just started charting to see what was going on and BOOM it happened in ONE month. Dh was shocked to say the least, the day I tested and got the , I decided to test because we had friends coming over and I was going to drink...well the desk was so light I decided against it...so I tested a bunch more time and all were very light. I never got a dark BFP, so after a few days I took a digital and there it was PREGNANT.
