So I wouldn't complain if I ended up getting PG right off the bat but after feeling so miserable being pg with Xandria I can't bring myself to at least try to avoid for a while. I am going to chart to avoid but I want something else in case I royally mess my charting up. Problem I have not a clue what to use
When we were 1st married I was on the pill but never again! I was the biggest monster, plus I don't want it to affect my milk supply. After Tai I had an IUD but it didn't go over very well either. I have thought about using either a diaphragm or a cervical cap but I just don't know. Wish there was a way to tell my body to not cycle until I was ready to get pg again Anyway, any thoughts or ideas? What's worked for you girls?
Breastfeeding. I was super lucky and didn't have AF for 2 years and 2 weeks. But most are not that lucky and you can get pregnant before you ever see AF.
I've thought about looking into a diaphragm or cervical cap, but haven't done so yet. But since the box of condemns are collecting dust, and I really can't afford another one, I should break down and do some thing. Or bit the bullet and pay to get DB fixed. Except now that he has fallen in love with our DD, he doesn't seem so keen to get fixed. Even though that was the plan BEFORE I got pregnant.

I wish bf would work but I'm not going to even get my hopes up/ Last time af started right up like normal even though I wasn't supplementing at all and Tai at often

Seems to be a lot of women on this board with this unlucky predisposition. Don't their bodies realize they should be getting at least a 6 month reprieve?
I'm in the same boat... DH wouldn't have minded if we got PG months ago! I still haven't started AF but I think BFing has helped with that.. The only thing we are doing to prevent PG is pulling out... (sorry if TMI ) It's worked so far and we wouldn't really mind if we got PG right now but prefer to wait til Brody is 1...
What's your thought on the shot? It didn't affect my supply and the only side effect (for me) was 5 lb. weight gain. It's only a doc appt. every three months and then you're in the clear.

If your talking about Depo provera - you want to be careful with this one if you have never used it. Because many women have very negative reactions to it. And if you want to get pregnant any time soon, it's a very bad choice. AVERAGE time to conception after getting off it is 18 months after last shot. Regardless if your on it 3 months or 3 years. While not permanent, it's very long term birth control. Took me 21 months to get pregnant after I went off it. I was on it 7.5 years. Over all I liked it. No AF after being on it for 6 months. No more AF cramps. Only had to deal with it every 90 days. But it did cause a LOT of vaginal dryness for me. Even when I was celibate - I was having discomfort from it.
It's not recommended for women who have a history or family history of depression. The first health care provider I asked to get it from refused to give it to me for that reason. I lied through my teeth the next years exam with a different person to get it and found that for me it made me a much more mellow person. No more big highs and lows in personality. So in other words - estrogen must really screw me up, because that is what you body lacks on Depo.
