Rich is scheduled for Feb 15th. Tierney's baptism was scheduled for the 17th but we went ahead and rescheduled for the following week.

I was reading the papers it looks painful. What is everyone's experience w/ the pain after??

He will have some pain. I wouldn't plan anything for that weekend. A jockstrap is a must! He won't want anything moving around for sure! I have some gerber breast therapy pads that my dh used and they worked wonderful.

Bill said it was a fairly mild proceedure, all things considered. He didn't take any pain meds or anything afterwords.

I recommend having a couple of bags of frozen peas at home for him immediately following the proceedure ~ he'll need to ice off & on for a few days and he definitely will need to stay off his feet for the weekend and take it easy for up to one week after. From what I recall, he shouldn't lift anything heavy for about a week.
