You will want:
  • Towels & wash cloths
  • insect repellent as I already said
  • Firewood if you can build fires
  • matches/lighter for fires or grills
  • grill if you plan to grill anything and there are not grill grates over fire pits
  • any pots or pans you might need for food you plan to prepare at the camp ground. You should have a small stove in the camper?
  • If you have a charcole grill - bring charcole and propane or a propane grill, ect.
  • Food - it's always more expensive at a camp ground
  • salt & pepper or what ever seasonings you normally use
  • plenty of ice - you may still have to buy expensive ice, but make sure your cooler(s) are well packed.
  • clothing/medication/toiletries
  • quarters for showers - some charge you to take showers
  • Camp chairs to around out side in. The camper can get really small, really fast.
  • Cloths line to hang towels up to dry on (some camp grounds don't allow this)
  • A roll of tin foil can be handy
  • soap
  • toilet paper
  • dish soap
  • cutlery - fork/knife/spoon
  • I would pack the kitchen sink, but there isn't room after I put everything else in.
