Default Shannons Party

Well even though Shannon’s first birthday isn’t until Tuesday we had his party yesterday. Everything went great even with my parents and step parents at the same home. Very surprising... My grandma (crazy one on the PA trip) didn’t even show up because she and my mom are fighting again....

Anyway, I have pictures but I was in a rush this morning and for got the camera to upload...sorry I know

My big question is have any of your children been afraid of wrapping paper? Shannon was great as long I unwrapped his presents and kept the paper away from him. Even tissue paper in bags bothered him. Once everything was unwrapped and on the ground he was fine and played and then even went to the paper and tore it up. It was only when I put the packages in front of him to open them.

Gifts he received:

Activity table from Chico
Walk & ride from Fisher Price
Tiger basketball lights and sounds by Chico
Parent Friendly Tonka trucks (soft ones that don’t hurt when thrown)lol
DH mom opened him a savings account and invested $100 in CD's for Shannon and Megan
Clothes
Books
Odds and ends toys

Every one got along great. I am sore from playing horse shoes for almost 3 hours with my dad but everyone helped clean up so I had no mess to worry with.

All and all it was a good day.
