Are there any other options than pre-school or daycare? Mom's groups, play groups, story times, etc. What about the YMCA? Mine has lots of programs for the 3+ group.

I think if putting him in daycare is the only way for him to get regular interaction with other kids around his age, there is some logic to doing that. But personally it wouldn't be my first choice.
