Hiya girls
So, long story short - the summer bonus Matt has always gotten and was promised to get in August was canceled company-wide. He is lucky not to have been one of the employees laid-off (yet anyways). UHC lost contracts totalling 300,000 members (
) and they are tightening down like crazy.
So, the $2000 we were counting on for the final bit of these adoption costs is POOF! gone.
We are not giving up on her and we are organizing the yard sale to end all yard sales, receiving donated items from so many wonderful people, selling anything not tied down on ebay and craigslist (well, not the kids
) and we are holding a raffle.
One $100 Target gift card as first prize, a $50 card as second prize.
One ticket is $5. Doesn't seem like much, but we only need 200 people to chip in that small amount and we will reach our goal with this raffle.
