Friday started out normal - other than DB actually crawling into bed in the middle of the night. And I do mean crawling, as he can't walk up the stairs. I left work early because DB's father was coming down to help us with some home improvement projects. DB's Father didn't show up until some time much later than we expected him, but it let me get the lawn mowed that desperately needed mowing. So after we did some measuring, all 3 of us headed down to Menards to pick up supplies. DB and his father were flirting outrageously with the teller when we checked out. She was an older woman and it was rather amusing. I could tell right away that the testosterone was sky high, as DB started cruising on his crutches. I knew this was a horrible idea, since he has trouble going slow on them. He may be the super jock (not counting he is getting old and is very overweight

), but he can't use crutches. Thought about telling him to slow down, but I know I would just get a snide comment in return so didn't say anything to him.
So he is off zipping through the parking lot when he trips. Not wanting to reinjure his leg, he falls forward. The crutches go flying. One I ascertained that he had not further injured his leg, though he claimed he broke his wrist, I just started laughing my head off as he lay face down in the middle of the parking lot with is crutches out of reach.

Because really, it was laugh or strangle him for utter stupidity.

I think it was the testosterone poisoning that caused him to behave so foolishly that made it so funny. Too bad we didn't catch it on video tape:
Shimmey's - $.99
Door handle - $18.95
Door - $120
Repeat surgery $16,000+
Seeing you DB behave like a fool because of testosterone poisoning - Priceless
I came down with the lovely cold that Liriel has, and I now know why she has been such a crab the last few days. It's a sucky head cold and now she is coughing, which I don't like.
On the positive side,
after 6 years in this house, I FINALLY have a bedroom door and my upstairs bathroom has a real door that actually opens and closes like it's suppose to.
Though we still have finishing work to do on them. It looks so different up there now. This is a very nice thing, especially since the pantie thief is coming down in a couple weeks till early August.
Afterwards Liriel was all lovey dovey and giving everyone hugs and kisses and telling them she loved them. Evidently Grandpa and Daddy get Big hugs, but Mommy only rates small hugs.

I wonder how long before Grandpa and Daddy get sick?
I have to run an errand tomorrow, but otherwise no big plan in my home. I'm hoping we don't get flooded, as more rain is forcasted, that's about it.
