Well after everything that happened last week.... My uncle was admitted to the Veterens Hospital in Hampton where my grandmother lives. The Drs said the meds were what was making act so out of it and he could not believe his previous Drs had him on this combination. It would have killed him in another week they said.
So they changed his meds and he is like a new person... he is totally coherant(sp) and knows everything that is going on. He is fully aware as any normal person would be. The cancer is still just as bad. There is no getting past that.
Okay heres the kicker. My grandmother has lied to him for months telling him that he was going to live with her and she was going to help with everything. it makes me so angry
. So when she put him in the hospital and he got on the new drugs he realized everything was a bunch of BS and she was going to keep him in the VA. So what did he do....HE ESCAPED
from the VA(i know its not funny but being back in his sane mind i think it is). When the cops found him he was hiding
in the bushes at the gas station about a 1/2 mile away.
When the cops asked him why he ran away he told them " Because my mother promised me that i was going to live with her and she lied to me. I never would have left PA if i'd known the truth. She promised." and then they took him back.
I really think this is going to shorten his time
because he is starting to give up on everything because he cant do anything. If i had a bigger house and could afford to take him in i would but there is now way with my work schedule and Seans... Megans school schedule takes up most of my off time.
I feel so guilty.
