...a spare tire that is. Or at least one should be wise enough to pack a bike tire repair kit. As you will soon note, I was not that wise. I was out roaming the swamp lands today with DD in her rather old, garage sale find, jogging stroller - I refer to it as my all terrain stroller - and we were just getting ready to head home as we were wandering through the cemetery looking at the old head stones. When the back right tire blew out! Why couldn't it have been the front tire?! It's not a problem to do pop a wheelies on a jogging stroller. So I had a 35 lb toddler ready to go to sleep and a stroller that had to be pushed sideways so as not to wreck the rims and I was around 2 miles from home!!!!!! So she tried to nap in the stroller as her legs occasionally dropped out and dragged along the ground. Ugh!
On a positive note: I think I definitely built up my arm strength this afternoon and I must have burnt of extra calories with my creative stroller pushing taticts.
I must remember to pick up a repair kit when I get a new tire me thinks. I would rather not repeat this endeavor in the future.
