i started to type a response earlier and Ty wouldn't let me.

okay here goes, as far as developmental milestones go, I have never heard of any connection between which way they roll and hand dominance, so I really do not see any correlation there.

As far as PPD, are you taking any medication or just feeling better? Are you getting any you time, able to get help, get rest, etc? I am glad you are feeling better.

With regards to foods and feeding solids, every baby is different and I think it is important to follow her lead. I would say to be cautious with overly sugary foods and watch for allergy with regards to berries, nuts, dairy etc. I personally think it is good to start with baby friendly foods-like cereal or purees of whatever you are eating without added salt or butter etc. With my boys I started Jake around 4 months after being pressured by my pedi because he was like 2o pounds and she said he must be starving-he wasn't. Anyway, with Ty I started and stopped a few times because of his reflux and some food allergies but at 6 months he was truly ready-grabbing everything he could to eat. She may also have grabbed your spoon tpo gnaw on because of teething. I think you have to trust your gut and if you think she is ready just go for it and just be cautious. You can always hold off if you think she really was not ready after all.

About eye color, both my boys had blue-gray until 8-9 months and now htey are both brown. I have brown and dh has green.

Keep us posted on how you all are doing and this is a great place to get support for ppd or vent about baby frustration-I think we have all been there at some time.
