Okay I see what you mean now lol!
The easiest thing to do is when you have the map opened on the webpage, right click and click "Copy" ... then open up the basic Paint program that came with your computer (under Accessories -- Paint) then click on "Edit" then "Paste" ... now you have your map in Paint.
Then click on "Image" at the top, and select "Draw Opaque" so that it's UNchecked.
Now you can start putting your text where you want it. Just select the text tool at the left (it's a big capital "A") then draw the textbox where you want it. A toolbox should appear allowing you to select the Font and Size, and below you can click on different colors. When you're ready to make a new textbox, just click on the "A" again.
PhotoShop is too complicated IMO for a simple project like that lol!

When you're done, just go to File - Save As - and save it as a JPEG file (.gif will be way too blurry and .bmp will be way too huge to send as an attachment in an email) then you're ready to attach it in an email.
