I love my Cricut. At our local JoAnn's Superstore they let me use my 50% off coupon to get Cricut cartridges. I ended up getting the Tear Drop Font and Doodlebug. I was shocked that they let you as at Michael's they won't let you use a coupon on anything Cricut.
The Cricut is so easy to use. They send out a weekly newsletter called the Cricut Chirp they give you tips. Here's what we did last weekend. Will loves my machine and we used it to do his leaf project for school. We cut the darker part out of 12x12 paper with leaves on it and then did a shadow cut to lay behind it. He got an "A" on his project.
Unfortunately no, I've not received any catalogs. That is so weird. I wonder if anyone else has received them?? I've gone to the website several times and looked around and I've seen several things that I've liked. I went to your website...AWESOME!!! I love it and especially the crayons up in the corner. It looks so graphic "designy"
My BF ended up getting her Xyron cutter at JoAnns using the 50% off coupon. She scored big time as that made it under $100.
I haven't done a page in awhile. Several weekends ago I made many cards. With it turning cold, I thought I would make some get-well cards and made some autumn cards. This weekend get away next weekend ended up being $65.00 for everything including our room, dinner and breakfast on Sunday. She gives you so much stuff when you come plus all the door prizes. Last year I forgot to bring my camera, so this year I'll make sure I bring it.
I know about the tax $$, that is usually when I buy some frivoulous for myself but even then it's always under $100. I will usually get something for the boys or the house. I still can't believe that DH got me my Cricut machine but I'm sure glad that he did.
